| In the previous section, you performed different cleaning options. You will now check to confirm whether the cleaning of those items was successful.

| To check Browser History Logs
|
|
|
| 1. | On the Start menu, select Programs->Internet Explorer
|
|
|
| The Internet Explorer launches.
|
| 2. | On the Internet Explorer toolbar, Click History  button.
|
|
|
| The History panel displays on the left side of the Browser.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 3. | Note that all the History Panel is empty. This shows that History Logs of your browser are erased.
|
|
|
| To check Browser Cookies
|
|
|
| 1. | Browse to your Temporary Internet Files folder. Generally, all the temporary internet files including Browser Cookies are saved in <drive:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files> folder.

|
| Note: The Temporary Internet Files path varies in different versions of Windows operating system.
|

| 2. | Note that all the Browser Cookies are deleted.

| To check MSN Received Files
|
|
|
| 1. | Browse to your MSN Received Files folder. Generally, all the MSN received files are saved in <drive:\user\My Documents\My Received Files> folder.
